Best Independent Driver in India! Highly Recommended!

Hi everyone!

We've had a fabulous driver during our trip through India's Golden Triangle! His name is "Sugar" (a.k.a Ankit) and he was recommended to us by Pankaj Singh, who has many good reviews here on TA.

Sugar has gone above and beyond our expectations as a driver, and I can highly recommend his services. Not only is Sugar a safe driver with a well-maintained car, but he also always has snacks and water waiting for us (a pleasant surprise!). His knowledge as a driver and guide has really made our trip fantastic - if we had a list of places we wanted to visit that day, he'd make sure we'd see them all, or if we weren't sure what we wanted to do, he'd have plenty if suggestions for us. I also felt that he had our best interests in mind the whole trip. It was great to have someone looking out for us, making sure we were enjoying our time in India.

I used Ankit's for two days to go Agra to see the Taj Mahal and to go to Jaipur. Ankit is very nice and more importantly drives very safe. He doesn't rush things and gives you very solid recommendations for food as well as sights to see. His English is also very good.

I would highly recommend Ankit he caters to your needs and is very courteous--made me and my sister feel safe the whole time. He has good recommendations and a good eye for where to take pictures.

I highly recommend Ankit. You won't be disappointed :)

I was with Ankit for 7 days in my tour of India's Golden Triangle. He's honest, he's trustworthy, he's genuine, sincere and safe and delivers impeccable service. I would sometimes wake up early step out from the hotel to go for a walk and see the area before the organized chaos of the day would begin, to find Ankit already up, wide-awake, having already gone for a run and now washing and cleaning his car. A dedication to his service that I may not have consciously noticed had I not woken up for those early-morning walks, he is clearly someone who cares a lot about the level of service he provides as can be seen in his fine attention to the details. Ankit's service goes far beyond providing the cleanest most well-kept car in all of India lol, his personality, friendly demeanor and warm and welcoming nature made him a travel companion as much as he was our guide, and is as much now my friend, we keep in touch regularly often checking on each other through Facebook's Instant Messenger of all things lol, what an amazing world we live in! Experiences with personal drivers are sometimes not without their drama as can be read about in other reviews, I saw this firsthand through friends made with fellow travelers and an evening spent with them and their driver. Most drivers are not vetted beyond the checking for a valid drivers license which means that it can be a roll of the dice as to what kind of person you end up with. This is a very honest and solid recommendation for someone whom I believe to rise above all others in his field. If you want safe, if you want reliable, if you want honest, if you want fun then book with my friend.
Ankit, you invited us into your home, to your family members wedding I had such a great time and such a great experience so much so because of you. I hope my review serves to further your business and help provide for you and yours.
